Join us at the CO-OP for the morning as we take a short hike to observe some existing mushroom logs currently in production. Then we will work together experimenting with different inoculation methods (totem and log) for various species of mushrooms (shitake and oyster). You will get hands on experience drilling holes and filling with the sawdust spawn plunger. Then the holes are sealed off with some wax. Each family unit will take home one completed mushroom log.

Coffee and tea provided. Guests are welcome to stay after the workshop and bring a picnic lunch. No childcare is provided. But kids are welcome to come and play out in nature as long as you are keeping tabs on them.
