The Co-Op

…a group of people collaboratively working toward a common goal. Our farm was built to be a place to work, learn, share and celebrate together. Farming is hard work. And it takes a village to do it right. We want those that are on board to take ownership and have a sense of pride in what they do.

Honoring Mother Earth is easier said than done.

The vision for the Co-Op is that members can thrive and focus on their own individual passions and projects while the burden of costly overhead and land prices can be shared amongst the members. We all hold each other up.

Seeking adventurous souls with an idea and an even bigger heart.

Do you have a desire to run a market garden? Want to plant a food forest? Start a nursery? Raise ethical sustainable meat? Keep a bee yard? Have a passion for bringing people together with events? There is so much potential and no man can do it alone. That’s the beauty of the Co-Op.

Bulger Creative Co

Stewart Farms CO-OP was founded by Lacy and Dustin Stewart. In December 2016, their first homestead was struck by lightning and burnt down. The support they received from family, friends, and community members was so inspiring. It was the catalyst for finding Stewart Farms and it created a desire to hold this property and its potential open handedly.

It took a village to get here. And it just feels right to keep the village here and expand it over time. We need people, we need support, we need connection.
